Death of pregnant teen and boyfriend now capital murder case

San Antonio police have elevated their investigation into the enigmatic deaths of a pregnant teenager and her boyfriend, now treating the case as a capital murder.

The tragic incident unfolded days after 18-year-old Savanah Soto, expecting to give birth, and her boyfriend were found lifeless. The authorities are actively seeking two persons of interest in connection with the case.

Initially deeming the situation an “unspeakable tragedy,” the police had discovered the bodies of the full-term pregnant woman and her 22-year-old boyfriend, identified as Matthew Guerra, inside a Kia Optima in San Antonio on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the unborn child was also found deceased.

The vehicle had been stationed at the location for several days, according to police, ABC News reported.
