Teen killed in shark attack off Australia’s coast, officials say

Confirmation has been received from the police that a shark attack claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy in the waters off Australia’s south coast.

The incident occurred near Ethel Beach in the Innes National Park on the Yorke Peninsula, a popular surfing spot. Following the attack, South Australia police retrieved the body from the water.

Authorities from Yorke Mid North Police, along with Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators, are currently at the scene.

A coroner’s report is underway to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic event, Fox News reported.
