Boebert switches congressional districts

Republican Representative Lauren Boebert revealed on Wednesday that she is changing congressional districts to sidestep a potential rematch against a Democrat who has significantly surpassed her in fundraising.

This decision comes after an awkward incident involving inappropriate touching and vaping, which even unsettled her staunch supporters.

In a Facebook video on Wednesday evening, Boebert announced her candidacy for the crowded Republican primary in the eastern side of the state, vying for the seat vacated by retiring Representative Ken Buck.

This move entails her departure from the more competitive 3rd District seat, which she narrowly secured last year and faced the risk of losing in the upcoming election due to concerns within her party about her controversial approach, the Associated Press reported.
