UAE'S Sharjah bans New Year's eve fireworks in support of Gaza

Sharjah, one of the seven sheikhdoms in the United Arab Emirates, banned the use of fireworks display to celebrate this upcoming New Year's eve.

The move is taken as a sign of solidarity towards the Palestinians amid the ongoing exchange of rocket fires with Israel.
