The Life & Times of Phyllis Moxley -- A Memorial Trip Through Her Life

Our much loved mother, Phyllis Daisey Moxley, passed away in December 2023 after a 20-some-year battle against Alzheimer's Disease. Here, we walk through her 87 year history through photos and an audio recording I made with her in 2004, a year or so before she received her diagnosis of Alzheimer's.

Since Mom has been in such a slow state of decline, she has not had the ability to speak (or, it seemed, even to know us or even herself) in five years, so to come across this audio recording that I had forgotten about has been a wonderful experience — to hear her thoughts, her memories, her sense of humor for the first time in so long.
