Ginger cookies «Christmas trees»

We need to:
❄ 100 grams of sugar
❄ 165 g of honey
❄ 125 g of butter
❄ 2 tsp ground ginger
❄ 1 tsp ground cinnamon
❄ 1 tsp ground cloves
❄ 1 tsp ground allspice
❄ 2 tsp baking soda
❄ 1 egg
❄ 400-450 grams of flour

Put honey, butter, sugar and spices in a saucepan, put on low heat and, stirring constantly, bring to the dissolution of sugar and butter. (The amount and composition of spices can be changed to taste).

Remove from heat, add baking soda, stir, the mixture will foam.
Cool, add the egg, mix.

Add 400-450 grams of flour, knead a smooth dough.
At first, the dough may seem too soft, you need to let it stand for a while, and it will become more convenient to work with.
Do not add all the flour at once, add 400 grams and the rest if necessary, only if it seems that the dough is too sticky after kneading. Sprinkle the remaining flour on the table when rolling out.

Preheat the oven to 170C.

Prepare one or more baking trays, cover with parchment.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3-5 mm, form Christmas trees, as shown in the video.
Bake for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown, sprinkle hot biscuits with powdered sugar.
