DISCIPLINE IS NOT PUNITIVE; IT IS ALWAYS FOR RESTORATION—Pastor Apollo

Discipline is not punitive; it is always for restoration.

The Kingdom way of discipline is with compassion and love, so, we reprove wrong doings like what the admonission of Galatians 6:1 says, "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted."

We always put ourselves in to the shoes of the one that is at fault because we are all undergoing the fire of correction, the fire of cleansing so we admonished one another with regards to that.

And the righ motivation is always with love according to Hebrews 12:5.

5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

So, the discipline, the rebuke, the correction is a sign of love.
