If your cat could have a job, what do you think would it be? Not that any cat would work for real - they are like tyrant, would much rather lounge around and force people into bowing to their every whim.

But if cats could have jobs, the perfect job for them would either be a ninja or a spy, or if this cat is any indication, a masseuse! Since cats are masters at the stealth attack, they’d make perfect ninjas or spies, but they’d make great masseuses cos they seem to have an innate skill in giving massages. When you have a stressful day, what is one thing that always makes you feel better? We bet one of the first things that came to mind is a massage! Well, it would seem that this kitty has had a pretty rough day at home, jumping after invisible bugs and chirping at birds, the only thing that could help was a good, deep-tissue knead from his best buddy. After all, what are friends for?

Also known as “kneading”, this behavior comes instinctually to felines, first demonstrated while suckling on their mother’s teet. However, there’s also a more practical aspect to kneading. Cats have scent glands in the soft pads on the bottoms of their paws. When they knead, some of their unique scent is released onto the surface being kneaded, and that scent serves as a kind of territorial marker for any unfamiliar cats that might come along and try to stake a claim.
