Law enforcement confirms that more people are killed after a school massacre in Newtown, USA.
Police held at 19.40 o'clock Norwegian time a press conference with the local authorities.

They are currently sparse with details of what promises to be the worst.

Having secured the scene
- There were several dead on the spot, both staff and students. But the governor is concerned that parents get information before we bring it on, police spokesman.
He confirmed that the perpetrator is killed and is located inside the school.

- The site is secure, but we're working to find out what has happened, says Paul Wance the state police.

Several sources reported that the death toll at Sandy Hook Elementary School can be so loud at 29, but this is thus far not confirmed.

Broke together
A reporter at the site said eyewitnesses told that the perpetrator went from classroom to classroom and shot. Teachers tried to hide children in closets and elsewhere to avoid being shot.

A public official, according to the same reporter have broken down after he saw the results of the massacre - a bunch of murdered children.

Witnesses at the site said they heard up to 100 shots while the drama unfolded at noon local time in the small town of Newtown, Connecticut.

Lightweight for sister
17 year old Mergim Bajraliu heard shooting and ran away from home to the school where the nine-year-old his sister yesterday.

He found her in good health, but said she heard screaming over the school's public address system and the teachers who came of buildings shaking and crying.

Richard Wilford says that the seven-year-old son told his teacher that his had gone out to check what was happening. He came back inside, locked the door and hid the children in a corner of the police came.

Hid in the closet
- I was in the gym, we heard a bang and thought it was a construction worker, but then we heard screams, tells a young boy tv channel WCBS.

- Then the police came in and asked, "Is he here?". Then someone shouted that we had to get us to safety, so we hid in a closet in the gym.

He says that they sat there for a while.

One of schoolchildren, told CBS that a teacher saved his life when the bullets flew in the time he stayed in:

- I came out into the hallway and the next thing that happened was that I saw and heard the bullets. It sounded like someone kicked open a door. A teacher pulled me into a classroom, says the student."
