On Today's Podcast, Dan Novak and Ashley Thompson host the show while Dan tells listeners what they will hear.

First, Caty Weaver reports on how attacks by Houthi rebels in Yemen are affecting international shipping through the Red Sea and Suez Canal. Many shippers are rerouting their boats around Africa to avoid damage from the rebel attacks. Then Andrew Smith has a story about Russians opposed to President Vladimir Putin who are fighting with Ukraine against Russia.

After that, Dan has the Education Report which, this week, is about how public schools are using teletherapy to deal with increasing mental health problems in school children. Schools are using government money for companies that provide the services. That is followed by a discussion about a term used in the story: venture capitalists. Dan tells Ashley that venture capitalists are investing in online therapy because there appears to be a lot of money for it.

Finally, Ashley and John Russell use Caty Weaver's report on geothermal energy to examine the term "springboard" and what it means in Lesson of the Day.
