Muhammad Ali Mosque...a jewel of Islamic architecture in Cairo

Muhammad Ali Mosque is located in the heart of Cairo, inside the Citadel of Saladin. It was built by Muhammad Ali Pasha, the founder of the Alawite dynasty, between 1830 and 1848.
