Lordship Salvation: Biblical Fact or Heresy?

What is Lordship salvation? Is it a heretical idea promoted by celebrity Calvinists as some claim or is it about what is required to be born again? Is it a ‘works based salvation as free-grace’ adherents claim.

Can a person receive Christ as their Savior but reject His Lordship over their life as an optional extra?

Is there a difference between being a Christian and being a disciple, or are we commanded to make Christian disciples?

What did Jesus teach on these issues? Did He give definitive conditions for what is required to both be a disciple and make disciples?
