The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this today on December 25th.

The fire broke out inside the plane today around 10:00 am Moscow time. The fire engulfed 70 m2 of internal upholstery. The fire was assigned a danger rating greater than medium level but the open flames were suppressed with the help of 16 firefighters and four units of equipment.
This plane was used as an aviation museum of the Trans-Baikal Territory. There were two decommissioned Tu-154s (RA-85280 and RA-85506), produced in 1978 and 1981 respectively.

Both flew for Sayany Airlines until 2001, after which they stood on the concrete of Kadala Airport for many years. In 2019-20, they were purchased by the zoo owner for 140,000 rubles. One of the planes housed an aviation museum and the other an aircraft simulator.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations strangely decided to blur the AEROFLOT writing on the plane that caught fire.
