Smallest Church in US 48 AND Smallest Mailing Office - US Post Office, Silver Lake, West Virginia

A two for one stop!
1. Our Lady of the Pines "Smallest Church in 48 States." A sign states this peculiar claim (Alaska and Hawaii became the 49th and 50th states in 1959). It was constructed in 1958. It measures just 12-by-24 feet and contains only 6 pews capable of holding 12 parishioners total. Just a few steps in back of the church is another "small" claim:
2. The "World's Smallest Mailing Office," a post office serving the community of Silver Lake. Our Lady of the Pines also has what they claim to be the Smallest Mailing Office. This is called a mailing office rather than a post office as it does not provide services that a post office provides.
