Potato Chip Rock is a thin, overhanging rock formation located on Mount Woodson in Poway, California, just outside of San Diego. It is a popular hiking destination, but it is also known for being one of the most terrifying places on Earth.

The rock is only about 3 feet wide and 8 feet long, and it juts out over a 600-foot drop. Visitors must climb a short but steep scramble to reach the rock, and once they are there, they must carefully edge their way out to the end to get a photo.
