Talha Ibn Ubaidullah (RA)

In 594 AD, Talha Bin Ubaidillah (RA) was born in Makkah. He was the Prophet’s close friend (PBUH). He is well known for his participation in the Battles of Uhud and Jamal. Regrettably, he was killed in the battle of Jamal.

?al?a ibn ?Ubayd All?h al-Taym? was a Companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. In Sunni Islam, he is mostly known for being among al-?ashara al-mubashshara. He played an important role in the Battle of Uhud and the Battle of the Camel, in which he died. Wikipedia

Talha fought at the Battle of the Trench and all the campaigns of Muhammad. During the Expedition of Dhu Qarad, Talha personally sponsored the operation through his wealth, thus causing Muhammad to give him the sobriquet "Talha al-Fayyad". Talha is included among the ten to whom Paradise was promised.

Umm Ishq bint tala ibn Ubayd Allh was the daughter of Talha and one of the wives of Hasan ibn Ali. After his death, she married Hasan's brother, Husayn ibn Ali.

isha bint ?al?a was, according to a Sunni source, the daughter of the prominent Muslim general Talha ibn Ubayd Allah and Umm Kulthum bint Abi Bakr.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, also called him 'Talha the Good' and 'Talha the Generous'. The name of the 'living martyr' was earned during the Battle of Uhud.
