The original melody in the second part of this track is called 'Adagio For Strings' and it was composed in 1936 by Samuel Barber.
'Adagio for Strings' can also be heard on many film and television soundtracks, including in The Elephant Man (1980), Platoon (1986), and Lorenzo's Oil (1992).
