Does Poland Want a Nuclear War with Russia??

Some reports suggest that Poland is in talks with the US about placing the latter's nukes on Polish territory. How will it change the global security architecture in Europe & the world, writ large? Will it trigger a nuclear war between Russia & the West?
One thing is sure: Placing US nuclear weapons near Russia will be considered a provocation!
