Cops mistake UNLV shooter for bystander, usher him outside

New police video has emerged of the recent shooting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which killed three people and wounded several more. Amid the search for the suspect, two officers seemingly mistook the shooter for a bystander, shouting at him to get out of the building.

Anthony Polito can be seen calmly walking through UNLV’s business school as the officers search nearby, checking doors. He did not have a weapon visible, and police did not yet have a description of the gunman. Polito would be killed moments later outside the building, in a shootout with police.
