View of Volcán de Fuego erupting from the summit of Volcán de Acatenango. This trek is unlike any other I’ve experienced, hiking through the jungle, volcanic stone and sand, barely sleeping due to the cold temperatures at base camp… all the while watching this volcano erupt every 15-20 minutes throughout the night and summiting for sunrise. Such a surreal experience!
