"Introduction to Quran for Non-Muslims", is the course that focuses on introducing Islam’s holy book “Quran” to the people of faiths other than Islam.
This primarily refers to Jewish and Christian people, because Quran is in continuity of the Bible, but also includes persons of any other thousands of faiths practiced around the World, or even those subscribing to no faith at all.
If you are absolutely uninitiated in the knowledge of Quran, or any other religious book for that matter, this course is for you.
The course is divided into two major sections. External and Internal. In the External section we’ll discuss all the aspects external to any book, like to who, when, where, how was the Quran revealed, in what language, and things like its name and size etc., essentially what we may call metadata.
In the Internal section, we’ll have an overview of the Book’s structure, order, arrangement, style and the topics it covers etc., essentially all things related to its content. Followed by a minor section in the end, in which we’ll learn How to read Quran in context, with examples.
