Friends and family,

Our goal with Emergency Management is to assure that people are prepared for whatever emergency that they may face.
We want to prepare everyone to have the things they need before being confronted with an emergency or disaster.
You MUST have a preparedness plan. A set of goals and a mind map of where you want to go, and things y ou want to accomplish once a disaster or emergency confronts you.
We do not want people to be confronted with a situation  and suddenly wonder what they are going to do. If  you don't have a plan, you will likely be rushing around like a chicken with your head cut off trying to do everything you can possibly think of doing in a very short time. The problem with this is you are likely going to forget something or a lot of things and you will likely forget and lose things that you do not want to lose and lose those things forever! We want to avoid this.

We have seen situations whee people are confronted by emergencies and they have to leave their homes, possibly never able to comeback to what they have and the home that you have been accustomed to be in. When you leave all of those comforts will be gone forever! We want to avoid that.
Tonight we will be discussing a checklist of preparedness items you are going to need to have with you. If you don't have those things you may not be able to survive as easily if at all. These items are critical for your survival.
Come to the program and be prepared to take notes of things we are going to be talking about.
Hopefully you will get a lot out of this program!
