A Bigfoot’s Christmas Wish

On a snowy Christmas night
A bigfoot came to town
He was looking for a gift
But he only found a frown

He saw the people in their homes
With lights and trees and cheer
He wished he had a family too
But he knew he didn't belong here

He wandered through the streets
And felt a pang of sorrow
He wondered if he'd ever find
A place to call his home tomorrow

He heard a sound behind a fence
And peeked inside with curiosity
He saw a little girl and a dog
Playing with a toy nativity

He smiled at the sight
And felt a warmth in his heart
He decided to leave a present
Before he had to depart

He took off his fur coat
And wrapped it around the toy
He hoped it would bring them joy
And maybe some comfort from the cold

He left a note that said
"Merry Christmas from your friend, Bigfoot"
He waved goodbye to the girl and the dog
And walked away with a lighter foot
