Russian paratroopers seize AFU stronghold north-western of Artyomovsk

December 23 - Assault units of Ivanovo paratroopers from the Yug Group of Forces improved the situation along the front line in Donetsk direction.

▫️ Scouts of the 'winged infantry' uncovered the enemy's defence system and main firepower. The Group's artillery suppressed firing positions of the AFU artillery units and eliminade detected command posts.

▫️ Having demoralised the enemy with precise artillery strikes, paratroopers from several directions under the cover of an armoured group on the BMD-2K-AU went to the assault.

▫️ UAV operators escorted the assault units from the air and warned about the newly discovered enemy firepower. The detected targets were immediately destroyed by FPV drone crews and armoured group fire.

▫️ Assault groups, using the entire arsenal of small arms, stormed the stronghold. The enemy fled, abandoning the wounded and killed. Some of the militants laid down their weapons and surrendered. Source
