Tired of Painting Beehives? Try This Instead

I have found a better way to preserve my beehives and bee equipment than painting beehives. For 5 years now I have painted beehives, hive bodies, and brood chambers and they do not last as long as I would like for them to. This is my third year with a new strategy and it is working out quite well. It also works on any untreated outdoor wood products.
