You’ve heard the analogy of “Boiling a frog in water.” It’s a metaphor that is often quoted to bring attention to the dangers of ignoring small studdle changes that lead to devastating and harmful consequences.
The analogy is based on a parable which says that a frog will jump out of a pot of boiling water. However, if the frog is placed in a pot of water and the heat is gradually increased the frog will ultimately stay and be boiled alive. Could this analogy describe the condition of many Christians in America? I’m not referring to the general public. I am specifically referring to those who profess to be followers of Jesus Christ.
Are American Christians being tempered by the culture and not realize it?
Are American Christians being drowned by the rapid waves of the culture and not know it?
