Watch Live: Icelandic volcano spews lava

A volcano erupted in Iceland on Monday, sending plumes of smoke into the night sky and threatening a town near one of the country's most famous tourist attractions. The eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula began at around 10 p.m. local time, following an earthquake around an hour earlier, the Icelandic Meteorological Office said in a statement.
