Good morning, my brothers and sisters in Christ.

"BEHOLDING GOD'S GLORY"

2 Corinthians 3:16-18

Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as [a]by the Spirit of the Lord.

Glory of God Devotional Discussion

Jared led a devotional discussion on the theme of beholding God's glory, using Second Corinthians, chapter 3, verses 16 to 18 as the scriptural basis. The meeting began with a prayer asking the Lord to shine His divine light and understanding into our hearts. Jared also mentioned the importance of spreading God's word daily. The discussion, part of a welcome-back event, was set to delve deeper into the topic after sharing the screen.

New Testament Lord and Spirit Discussion

Jared discussed the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and the Father in the context of the New Testament. They explained that while the Lord usually refers to the Son, the Father is sometimes called the Lord, and the Spirit is called the Lord.

God's Uncreated Image and the Power of the Spirit

Jared discussed the concept of God's uncreated image and the power of the Spirit. They emphasized the importance of beholding God's glory and striving to become what we're created to be, with no limits. Jared referenced several biblical passages to support their points, including Second Corinthians, Chapter 4, verses 4 through 6, and James, Chapter 1, verses 23 through 25. They also highlighted the example of Christ lowering Himself and dwelling amongst His creation to show the way. Jared concluded by encouraging the audience to remember to behold God's glory and continue on the path of teaching and preaching.

Biblical Texts' Meaning and Origin

Jared also touched on the importance of understanding the true meaning of biblical texts, suggesting that taking time to explore the meanings of words and their origins can deepen understanding of the Bible's messages.

Prayer for Blessings and Peace

They also prayed for God's blessings and peace upon everyone.
