An 11 year old boy put on his warm winter clothes and said to his father: "Dad, I'm ready!"

His father, a preacher at the local church, asked him: "Ready for what?"

"Dad, it's time to go out and hand out our brochures."

"Son, it's very cold and rainy outside."

The child seems surprised by his father's answer and says: "But Dad, people should know who God is, even on rainy days."

"Son, I'm not going out in this weather."

Full of hope, the child asks him: "Can I go alone? Please, Dad!"

His father thought he wouldn't get far and said: "Okay, son, you can go. Here are the flyers, but be careful."

"Thanks, Dad!" The son runs out and walks through the streets of his small town. He hands out the leaflets to almost everyone he meets. After two hours of walking in the rain and cold, he realizes that he only has one booklet left.

He stops on a street corner to wait for the next passerby, but the streets are already empty. Determined to give away this last brochure, he goes to the door of the first house in front of him. He rings the doorbell several times, but no one opens the door.

When the boy finally decides to leave, he changes his mind again and comes back. This time he doesn't just ring the doorbell, but starts knocking on the door with his knees. Finally the door opens!

An adult woman appears. She asks him with a gentle voice and a sad look: "What can I do for you, dear child?"

With beaming eyes and a sweet smile, the child answers: "Madame, I'm sorry to have disturbed you, but I just wanted to tell you that GOD loves you, and I also want to give you my last brochure that says how much GOD really loves you." The boy gave her the brochure and left. "Thank you my son, God bless you!"

The following Sunday morning, the preacher asks before the Sunday service:

"Is there anyone in the church who has a testimony and would like to share it with everyone?"

A lady from the back row comes forward. Her voice is soft and gentle, and her eyes shine with a strange gleam: "No one here knows me. I've never been here before. Until last week, I had no interest in God and I didn't live as a Christian, even though I was born into a Christian family. Some time ago, my husband passed away and left me alone and hopeless.

Last week, on the day it was so cold and rainy, my heart was broken, in irreversible despair to live any longer! That day I felt like I had reached the end of my life's journey.

I took a chair and a rope and went to the ceiling of my house. After standing on the chair, I tied a knot and put the rope around my neck. Just as I was about to knock the chair away, I heard the doorbell ring and then heavy knocks on my door. I thought I'd wait a minute, then this visitor would leave.

I waited, waited... but the knocks got stronger and stronger. It was so loud that I could no longer ignore it. I wondered who it could be? No one ever comes near my door and no one ever comes to see me! I loosend my neck rope and then ran to the door...

When the 'little angel' who brought me the Good News was gone, I closed the door and read every word of the written message carefully. My heart was filled with inexplicable joy!

I no longer needed the rope and the chair. As you can see... I am now a very happy daughter of the King of kings, our Lord JESUS!

I thank the Lord for sending me this 'little angel of God' who came just in time. And not only to save this precious life of mine, actually, but also to save me from eternal problems that I would have gone through in hell."

All the people in the church were crying. The sobbing preacher stepped down from the podium, went to the first pew and took his dear son into his arms.

I surrender it to You.’”

"My child, say this from your heart and I will embrace you and lead you into a glorious future. Yes, I make you this promise... Surrender your life to Me and I will give you My hope. The scales of blindness, the knives of bitterness that still remain in your heart, I will remove. I will heal these wounds and set you high above your enemies. You will conquer and overcome the devils of the past, and their terror will no longer frighten you. Come, place your hand in Mine. Come, you belong to Me now. Let us leave this prison of the past together and step into the glorious light of a new day... Come."
