Jamaica and The Cold War: Recipe of a Failed

Jamaica, on August 6, 1962 obtained political independence from Great Britain -- the former colonial master of island. There was great hope that Jamaica would become a developed society, given the fact that it was now given the opportunity to govern its own affairs. Unfortunately, we have not, to date, achieved economic independence, which would have solidified said independence project. Thus, has Jamaica's independence project failed? Join me as I elucidate on Lieutenant Ricardo Tyndale's master's thesis on Jamaca and the Cold War. Tyndale analyzed the negative impact of the Cold War on Jamaica's Independence Project.
