Bangladesh opposition protests: Anti-government rally held in capital Dhaka

The main opposition party in Bangladesh The Nationalist Party, has held a major rally and procession in the capital, Dhaka. It was both a commemoration of the nation's independence 53rd Victory Day, and a protest against what demonstrators say is government oppression - as it plans for a general elections in January.
