Anime NJ++ 2023: The newest anime con in New Jersey!

When I first saw the marketing materials for Anime NJ++, there wasn't much to go off of, but as the show date drew closer, more details were added to the website.

With how professionally everything was executed, you'd think this would be their fifth odd year doing this, but this is their FIRST year.

Powering things behind the scenes, is the company Media Blasters. They are an independent film distributor, whose previous works include the English dub of Yosuga no Sora, Ladies VS Butlers, Berserk, and Vampire Vixen.

It's nice that Media Blasters had legit Blu-Rays for sale at the convention. I always like going the official route whenever possible. Physical media may be on the downturn, but at least those spicy anime discs won't suddenly brick themselves if you can't connect to the internet.

Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with AnimeNJ, and will certainly attend next year's.
