This is a BOOSTERAMA Zomboss. All plants get their plant food effect upon planting.

Olive Pit was offered between December 16, 2023 through December 23, 2023.

Olive Pit is a member of the Contain-Mint family.
Olive Pit costs 175 Sun. (-25 Sun on levels 4, 7 and 10.)
Every seven (7) seconds, Olive Pit spits out a puddle of olive oil which lasts for six (6) seconds.
Zombies which step on these puddles will be slowed by 33%.
When a normal zombie steps in Olive Pit, it will be swallowed whole.
Olive Pit can digest 2 zombies simultaneously. (+1 zombie on levels 2, 4, 7 and 10.)
Olive Pit takes 20 seconds to digest a zombie. (-2 seconds 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9.)

Commentary:
Olive Pit digests zombies the way Chomper and Toadstool should - the ability to inject multiple zombies at once. As Chomper and Toadstool are money plants, Olive Pit gives the player more or less the same ability without spending real world cash.

Bottom Line:
Olive Pit is a situational plant that works well when there are no mechanical or Gargantuars. Olive Pit will not stop flying zombies. Olive Pit can be overwhelmed by hordes. Yet the ability to handle otherwise dangerous zombies with no concerns makes this plant one that players should obtain.
