International Space Station Viewed Through Telescope
Occurred on July 29, 2014 / Mesa, Arizona, United States
Info from Licensor: "I had received a pretty big telescope as a graduation gift from my uncle, and my wife received a Canon DSLR. We had gone out to look at the International Space Station passing over head before, but just with the naked eye, and it just looks like a moving star. We thought it would be really cool if we could record it up close with our new telescope and DSLR, so I started investigating ways to attach a DSLR to a telescope. I found an attachment and used NASA's ISS tracker to figure out when it would be overhead again. I had to manually track it which was pretty hard, but the results were stunning, you could even see the solar panels on the station itself. My wife and I were hooked and now I dedicate most of my free time to imaging different deep space objects and others in out solar system."
