Gai-Kodzor is a small Armenian "island" in the middle of the big Anapa district. The picturesque village is located south-east of Anapa. The road to Gai-Kodzor leads through the villages of Su-Psekh and Varvarovka. Whereas the village itself serves as a transit point on the highway between Novorossiysk and Anapa.

The sea coast is only 7 km away in a straight line. Anapa – Gai-Kodzor is about 10 km away.

Located in the Anapa district, the small village of Gai-Kodzor keeps somewhat apart from the rest of the coast. The indigenous people have so equipped the village that they can afford not to travel to Anapa for weeks or even months. Except out of boredom. Perhaps for this reason, people planning to move deprive the settlement of attention when choosing real estate for living. Even some Anapa residents consider Gai-Kodzor to be "another planet".
