Badin students design community app, win contest

Three local high school students are putting their minds together to make the community a better place. Badin High School students Jacob Waggoner, Jon Moran and Nick Eyl are designing an app called "ImpACT" that can help users volunteer for community service projects, support local businesses and contact elected officials. "It's about taking your education -- what we're learning right now -- and applying it beyond the classroom," Eyl said.
