Bokashi Composting

This is how I'm now composting with Bokashi bran which allows you to eliminate ALL food waste in household by a fermentation process that utilizes anaerobic microbe inoculated bran to ferment food scraps. The bran keeps the food from rotting and producing methane. The microbes create an environment that is not conducive to pathogens like E.coli & salmonella. This allows for the composting of items like meat, dairy, and cooked foods. Once the bucket is filled, let it sit for 2-3 weeks to ferment. It is a pre compost input and needs to undergo an aerobic decomposition process once it has fermented, which means you add it to a compost pile, bury it in garden bed or make a soil factory with it. This is an awesome way to compost everything without having to deal with worms!
