Kokomo police looking for man suspected of beating, raping woman

Police arrived to find a victim who said she had been battered and raped by a man she identified as Gary F. Perkins. According to the woman, Perkins struck her in the head and knocked her unconscious. The woman was able to free herself approximately 12 hours later after Perkins had left. Police said Perkins is believed to be driving a blue 2003 Chrysler Town and Country minivan with Indiana license plate 644TJZ. He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
