Ventura County Fire officials say a mandatory evacuation is in place north of Loma Vista Road in Ventura from Ashwood to Victoria Avenue. Voluntary evacuation for north of Loma Vista Road from Victoria to Wells Road. Ventura County Fire officials say the Thomas Fire has grown to 45,000 acres.Kern County Fire officials say they have now sent 70 total fire personnel to help battle the Thomas Fire.
