From the longest underwater road and rail tunnel in the world, to a $33 billion dollar investment for a new Intel Giga factory; Germany’s problem with mega-projects is not engineering. But the extreme detailed and complex bureaucracy, which although very helpful; also becomes a big delaying issue for mega-projects in Germany.
