Russian kid determined to play on swing buried in snow

There’s a new measurement for snowfall in the Russian city of Tula, namely the volume of snow displaced by one standardized arc swing of a small but oddly determined child.

This plucky young hero defied the elements, weather forecasters and probably his mother to play on the swings during heavy snowfall. Man’s indomitable spirit? The futility of existence? Triumph over adversity? Yet for all his exuberance, reality can be cold.
