The problems San Diego faces and the lasting effects of extreme Covid polices are the same issues that cities all over America are facing. San Diego needs a compassionate and unifying leader who genuinely cares about the well-being of its residents.
Having spoken with thousands of District 4 residents, Amy knows that many San Diegans yearn for an affordable, safe, and enjoyable place to live. There is room for significant improvement, and we can strive to make it happen together.

When elected, Amy is committed to wholeheartedly representing the people of San Diego, serving and protecting their best interests, and actively listening to their voices.
When COVID upended the lives of San Diegans and the nation in 2020, Amy decided to take action. After watching the failures of career politicians exacerbate the effects of the pandemic, Amy co-founded a non-profit, ReOpen San Diego, to ensure the safe reopening of schools, bring relief to struggling small businesses, and support first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers.
San Diego, like other cities with great potential, has seen enough of career politicians’ failed agendas. Amy Reichert isn’t a politician. She’s a mom and community leader, and she’ll fight to solve the homeless crisis and make life safer and more affordable for San Diego families.
