Connecticut man accused of pursuing 15-year-old metro Detroit girl for sex

A 28-year-old Connecticut man is facing a slew of charges including possession of child porn and traveling across state lines to have sex with a minor after a missing 15-year-old metro Detroit girl was found in a motel room with him. Federal agents filed the charges in court on Monday, after police pinged the missing girl's cell phone on Saturday to the Super 8 Motel in Belleville. According to the criminal complaint, Rondell Cook is accused of luring the girl to the motel to have sex with her, and investigators say the pari had met on social media and had been communicating for months.
