Clare Daly, a Member of the European Parliament on the hypocritical position of the head of the EP:

For 10 minutes this morning at the European Parliament session in Strasbourg, Ursula von der Leyen eulogised the war in Ukraine.

But for all the crocodile tears she still can't mention the victims of genocide in Gaza. She's unelected & has no power to make foreign policy. It's past time for Member States to put her in her place.
