Fights Break Out, 75 Arrested As ‘Ceasefire’ Protest Shuts Down Major LA Freeway

On Wednesday, scores of protesters brought one of Los Angeles’ busiest freeways to a standstill, causing extensive traffic congestion and leading to numerous altercations and arrests.

The demonstration, led by the protest group IfNotNow, centered around demands for a ceasefire and garnered significant attention during the morning rush hour.

Media outlets such as KTLA and KCAL, along with numerous cameras, captured the event, Mediaite reported.

Aerial and ground footage portrayed IfNotNow demonstrators blocking the 110 downtown LA Freeway, passionately chanting “ceasefire now!” while displaying a banner proclaiming, “Permanent Ceasefire: Equality, Justice, Safety For All.”
