Man arrested for possession of stolen property, burglarizing a church

A 22-year-old man was arrested on Saturday in a stolen car after leading police on a vehicle pursuit. He was also wanted for burglarizing a church last weekend. On Nov. 26 at 8:02 a.m. Dillion Dabbs forced entry into Pleasant View Baptist Church on South Haley Street and took some undisclosed items. When confronted by an employee Dabbs assaulted the victim and fled on foot. On Saturday at around 7:40 p.m. Bakersfield Police Officers located a stolen car on Monterey Street. The car had been reported stolen on Dec. 1.
