Air Force disciplines 15 airmen in investigation of accused leaker Jack Teixeira

Fifteen military personnel, spanning from staff sergeant to colonel, have faced disciplinary action, including the removal of their command responsibilities, following their failure to appropriately respond to Jack Teixeira’s intelligence-seeking activities, as revealed in a comprehensive Air Force investigation disclosed on Monday.

Contrary to expectations, the watchdog report did not uncover any evidence suggesting that Teixeira’s immediate superiors were aware of his alleged dissemination of the nation’s most sensitive secrets online during the relevant period.

Instead, the report highlights a systemic lack of diligence in supervision by Air Force officials at Teixeira’s base, ABC News reported.
