DLCs and Expansions in 2020 - FrameCast #28

Pokemon Sword and Shield introducing a Paid Expansion could mean a change to Franchise games. Does it still make sense to keep releasing the same game with slightly different alterations or are there more benefits for Franchises to turn into Live-services? Also, are some major Live Service games like Destiny 2 and Warframe nearing the end of their life-cycle?
