What to do Upon Receiving an Alert Outdoors- Guidelines
In the car, on the bus, on the train or walking along the street- here is what you do upon receiving an alert if you have mobility impairments and the elderly.
The alert on a rocket and missile attack can catch you not near a residential protected space or a shelter. What do you do if you have mobility difficulties and you are driving the car, on the train or just getting some fresh air?

Outdoors
If you are in an urban area, enter the nearest building but don’t stay near the entrance or the windows in an open area, lie on the ground and protect your head with your hands. If you aren’t able to lie on the ground, stay in the wheelchair and protect your head with your hands.

In the car
Stop by the side of the road. If you can, leave the car and enter a shelter or a stairwell in a nearby building.
If it is not possible to reach a building in the time available to reach shelter, exit the car and move away from it, crossing the road railings, lie on the ground and protect your head with your hands.
If it is not possible to exit the car, stop by the side of the road and crouch under the window level and protect your head with your hands.
If you're in a tunnel- stop by the side of the road and wait in the car for 10 minutes.

Public transportation
On intra-city bus lines - the driver must stop at the side of the road and open the doors so that passengers can get off the bus and enter a nearby building. If reaching a building is not possible within the time available, bend below the bus's window line and protect your head with your hands.
On intercity lines - the driver must stop at the side of the road and open the doors, and the passengers must bend below the bus's window line and protect their head with their hands.
On Israel trains - the driver must slow down to 30 km/h for 10 minutes and the passengers must bend below the window line in the carriages and protect their head with their hands.
On the light railway- In an overground line - drivers must stop and open the doors and passengers must bend under the line of the windows and protect their heads with their hands for 10 minutes.
In an underground line - the train will keep traveling with no guidelines for passengers. If the train is close to the exit from the tunnel near the area where the alerts is received, the train will stop in the underground tunnel an passengers must remain in their seats for 10 minutes.

Remember- the Home Front Command guidelines saves lives!
2023 Israel – ISIS-Hamas war
An ongoing armed conflict between Israel and Hamas-led terror Palestinian militant groups has been taking place chiefly in and around the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023, with clashes also taking place in the West Bank and Israel–Lebanon border. On that day, ISIA-Hamas-led Palestinian militants launched a multi-pronged invasion of southern Israel from the Gaza Strip. The surprise attack comprised a barrage of rockets, while around 3,000 militants breached the Gaza–Israel barrier and attacked Israeli military bases and civilian population centers. At least 1300 Israeli civilians were killed during the attacks, while an estimated 240 Israeli and foreign nationals were taken as hostages to the Gaza Strip. As of 11 October, at least 44 countries have condemned the attack as a terrorist attack. After clearing Hamas militants, the Israeli military responded by conducting an extensive aerial bombardment campaign in which 6,000 bombs were dropped on Gazan targets over six days and by imposing a total blockade of the Gaza Strip followed by a large-scale ground invasion of Gaza.
