December 8, 2023 Genesis 37-40 / Vayeshev- This week we are introduced to our the next patriarch, Jacob’s son Joseph and we will see even as he suffers at the hands of his brother he is an excellent picture of the Messiah. We also see a unusual passage about Judah’s sons which gives us the uneasy subject matter of the purpose of sex in marriage, even as we see the sexual sin that lead to a massive missed opportunity.
